Mara Media Ltd, owner of the Irish Skipper publication and the Irish Skipper Expo, have announced the launch of a new fishing exhibition for the Scottish fishing and processing industry.
Scottish Skipper Expo 2011 will be held on 24 and 25 June 2011 at the Aberdeen Exhibition & Conference Centre (AECC).
Having run and built up the Irish Skipper Expo over the past six years, Mara Media said it was approached by various suppliers and fishermen within the Scottish fishing industry with a view to launching a new exhibition in the heartland of the fishing industry.
By choosing Aberdeen as the location, the event is within a short distance of Scotland’s main fishing ports.
