The new Baader Technology Center (BTC) has been inaugurated, following a two year construction phase.
The 1,600m² BTC is the new vibrant heart of the Baader Group, with multiple variable conference and training rooms as well as two demonstration/projection rooms, and elaborate lighting and media technology will present the company’s machines in the proper light. The demonstration rooms can be cooled down to 3°C and 12 °C and therefore create real production conditions. A future-oriented photovoltaic system for the sustainable production of energy, as well as a modern waste water technology, is part of this new building.
The goal of the Baader Group is to demonstrate on-site to the customer the potential of the complete product lines and integrated systems. Additionally, production situations initiated by the customers as well as new systems and procedures can be tested. Likewise, Baader specialists are available to work out new ideas and approaches together with prospective customers.
In order to offer to its customers this competitive advantage, the company has invested a seven-digit amount in the site at Lübeck, Germany. The company also placed importance of using local companies. The entire planning was carried out by the traditional Lübeck architectural firm PPP, and the implementation was largely realised by handicraft companies from the region.
