Nauta Shiprepair Yard has signed a contract to build a partly outfitted purse seiner trawler for Danish shipyard Karstensens Skibsvart.
The new vessel - Aine - will be 56.5m long and 12.5m wide, and is scheduled for delivery in February 2017. This is Nauta’s seventh order from Karstensens Skibsvart. Nauta has recently delivered three similar ships for the shipyard and three other units are under construction.
Aine will be equipped with tanks for transporting live fish, and will feature a main propulsion diesel engine, along with other modern technical solutions.
