North Atlantic Seafood Forum AS has appointed Simon Dwyer of Seafox Mangement Consultants Ltd as its UK & Ireland Representative to promote the North Atlantic Seafood Forum (NASF) which takes place in Oslo, March 2012.

Mr Dwyer in based in Grimsby, UK and has worked closely with the seafood sector in the UK, Ireland and abroad for many years. The role will be to represent the interest of the Forum that has become the largest seafood business conference in the world.

The event in 2012 is said to be even more popular with the recent announcement that NASF has entered into a seminar partnership with FAO Fisheries and Aquaculture Policy and Economics Division. The FAO NASF seminar 2012 will have a number of special themes and developments that will broaden the scope of existing NASF events. This includes FAO Code of conduct for Responsible Fisheries, IUU fisheries, certification and sustainability. The FAO will also focus its attentions on the African seafood sector with top policy makers and industry figures joining the event.

Jorgen Lund, Managing Director of NASF AS said “NASF is the premier meeting place and business arena for the seafood industry top executives. For 2012 we expect 30 countries to be represented with more than 500 senior industry delegates in attendance.”

The NASF will take place in Oslo, Norway from 6th to 8th March 2012.
