French trawl door manufacturer Morgère has expanded its service portfolio for the fishing fleet by opening two new repair and maintenance facilities at St Brieuc and Perros-Guirec in Brittany.
Specialising in steel, metal and pipe work, the two repair facilities will offer fishing vessels and other marine craft comprehensive repair and maintenance services that will ensure quality workmanship and fast turnaround.
The facilities can cater for vessels up to approximately 25 metres and feature special boat-lift capabilities up to 450 tonnes.
“With our specialist expertise in steel and metal fabrication, it made sense for us to expand our range of services to the fishing fleet by offering repair and maintenance support,” said Michel Dagorn at Morgère.
“The two facilities have been in operation since last autumn and have been very busy in servicing the needs of the local fishing fleet.”
