Speakers from Global Aquaculture Alliance and Aquaculture Stewardship Council will cover the benefits and processes for achieving Best Aquaculture Practice and ASC certification. These presentations will be followed by an overview from the Turkish Aquaculture Association on how farms in Turkey are processing their product before selling it and the value this adds. These speakers will highlight the processes that can be implemented by the farmer based on their operations today.
Matis, Iceland’s leading food and biotechnology research and development consultants will conclude the session and will present on the Icelandic model of maximising the fish value from using the parts which normally would be wasted.
