Norwegian-based Marine Harvest has reported the following salmon harvest volumes for the second quarter: Norway 48,000 tonnes, Chile 2,000 tonnes, Canada 7,000 tonnes, Scotland 7,000 tonnes, and others 4,000 tonnes.
The harvest volumes are provided in head on gutted (HOG) equivalents and include salmonid species only.
Operational EBIT for the group was approximately NOK 790 million (€99.1 million/$125 million) for the quarter. Operational EBIT per kg for Marine Harvest Norway was approximately NOK 11 (€1.38/$1.74) in the quarter.
Marine Harvest will release its Q2 2010 results on 21 July.
