Marine Harvest ASA has appointed Ola Brattvoll as group director for the new business unit Global Sales & Distribution. The new unit will be in operation from 1 January 2011.
Brattvoll has broad experience from the salmon industry and is currently vice president of Lerøy Seafood Group's sales organisation, H Lerøy AS.
His previous positions in Lerøy include market director and market director for Japan. In addition Brattvoll has previously represented the Norwegian Seafood Export Council in different countries.

Brattvoll will take up his position in the early part of 2011, at a date to be agreed.
