Human fish consumption to see 15% increase by 2030.

The FAO estimate fish consumption will increase by 15% in the next 12 years resulting in a greater reliance on farmed fish to meet this demand. In Greece, host location of High Energy Mariculture Conference 2018, 69% of total fisheries production comes from farming, which also accounts for 11% of total Greek agricultural exports.
