HB Grandi’s pelagic vessel catch for 2010 totalled 96,400t, with a value of ISK3.4 billion.

This means that compared to 2009, landings were down 8%, but the value increased by 28.3%.

These figures come from a review of HB Grandi’s pelagic operations for 2010.

Faxi RE was the top catching vessel with 32,248t, while Ingunn AK was close behind with 32,224t. Lundey NS’s landings for the year totalled 29,340t, while Víkingur AK, which was at sea for only a few trips, landed 2,560t.

Ingunn, Faxi and Lundey all have similar figures for their catch values. Ingunn landed fish worth ISK1,145,000. Faxi’s catch was worth ISK1,112,000 and Lundey earned ISK1,047,000.
