Craig Nolan, a master chef will be cooking and serving a new fish delicacy, aptly named the fishwrap at the Brussels Seafood Expo.

Made from the abundantly available but little known Dabs fish, Craig is planning to serve around 2,000 such delicacies according to the North East Lincolnshire Council's Economic Regeneration Department (NELCERD). The council, including Grimsby, represents 70% of the fish processing industry and once more food, packaging, storage and logistic type companies. Council developer officer Andrew Moore, said: "Grimsby and Immingham are critical to the prompt distribution of UK fish, with the majority of this catch coming from managed Icelandic and Faroese fish stocks. To listen to the popular press you could easily be fooled into thinking that all our cod supplies come from the North Sea. In fact North Sea supplies account for only a small quantity of total supply. North East Lincolnshire is by far the most important area for fish processing".Immingham and Grimsby handled 52.2 million tonness in 2002.
