The 19th Annual European Seafood Exposition (ESE) and 13th Annual Seafood Processing Europe (SPE) will be held in Brussels, Belgium, 3-5 May 2011, at the Brussels Exhibition & Conference Centre.
These events will bring together seafood buyers and sellers from throughout the world with over 1,600 companies from approximately 80 different countries exhibiting.
In 2010, the two exhibitions attracted almost 24000 attendees from 140 different countries.
Whilst the exhibitions are hugely successful in terms of the number of exhibitors and visitors, the significance of these events is further demonstrated through the successful relationships that they help to develop. Research has shown that 79.9% of visitors who attended the 2010 ESE and SPE found new products or companies and 80% planned on purchasing products or services as a result of attending the event.
Seafood Processing Europe
Seafood Processing Europe, held concurrently with the European Seafood Exposition, is a three-day trade fair attracting buyers and sellers from over 140 countries worldwide. More than 200 companies from 22 countries fill the Seafood Processing Europe exhibit hall. This is the place to find the equipment, processes, services, and technology needed for getting seafood from dock to market.
Visitors to the event will find exhibitors that represent every aspect of seafood processing, including Packaging Materials & Equipment, Refrigeration/Freezing Equipment & Supplies, Primary Processing Equipment, Secondary Processing Equipment, Hygiene Control/Sanitation, and Quality Assurance Services.
The event is an opportunity to launch new products, meet new buyers, learn emerging trends, and access the global seafood and processing market.
Some of the offerings to be found at the show are detailed in WF’s SPE preview.
