The Randers Compact is a steel wire rope specially intended for the most demanding jobs in the fishing industry where equipment is put to the ultimate test. Furthermore it is ideal as trawl wire and purse seine line because of the minimal wear on winches and blocks.
Randers Reb has carried out some tests on its Randers Compact and the results speak for themselves. The Randers Compact has been working 105 and 120 sets where they used to take approx. 80 sets. In a recent test, the tuna fishing company has obtained up to 140 sets -- that is from tuna fishing boats that are working in a wide variety of weather and climatic conditions.
The adequate pitch and weight of Gunnebo Tuna Fishing Chain enables quick assembly and easy connection to coupling links and net. The hot dip galvanization gives the product high fatigue resistance and generally longer life in seawater compared with alloy steel products.
