Fisheries worth 17% more in the first-quarter, while the total volume slips slightly

Icelandic fishing vessels caught a total 212,970 tonnes of fish and shellfish in the first-quarter of 2025, which represented a decrease of 2% or more than 5,200 tonnes compared with the corresponding period of last year, new industry figures confirm.
