Scottish fisheries could be facing major changes as MSPs launch a consultation on proposals to restrict offshore fishing in marine protected areas.

The Scottish Parliament’s Rural Affairs and Islands Committee is inviting views on the Scottish Government’s plans to prohibit or limit certain fishing methods in 19 protected zones around Scotland.
