The European Commission is asking for input on its forthcoming Vision 2040 for fisheries and aquaculture, setting out a strategy to strengthen the sector’s sustainability, resilience and competitiveness

The 15-year framework aims to tackle mounting structural pressures facing Europe’s fisheries and aquaculture industries, which play a vital role in food security and coastal livelihoods.
