Canning machinery manufacturer Fishbam has recently opened one of the biggest canneries in Algeria and has told World Fishing that the company plans to diversify commercial operations in Europe.
The company's equipment, manufactured according to Codex Alimentarius rules and to ISO 9001- 2000 quality standards, has EC Markings following European Security rules.
All Fishbam equipment has successfully passed diverse testing undertaken by control agencies such as FDA. Fishbam is also certified by Bureau Veritas.
Equipment available includes:
• Sterilising Autoclaves - ready-made for the sterilisation of packed foods in all types of containers
• Automatic Tuna Cooker-Cooler with Automatic Vacuum System 'FISHVAC' - different models from 6-12m are available
• Canned Fish Continuous Cooker with Drying 'Flashcook' - this machine cooks by direct steam control and has an automatic regulation of temperature
• Sardine Nobbing and Eviscerating Machine double head - type F/CEE-F - this machine consists of an automatic fish cutting system which cuts fish to a pre-determined size; and a guts suction system by means of vacuum pump (independent equipment)
• Fish Nobbing-Eviscerating & Packing Machine "Fishpack" - for grilling and then filling fish into cans automatically
