Spanish seafood processing and canning machinery manufacturer Fishbam has recently provided cookers, sauce preparing equipment, empty can feeding system, and other equipment for a Chilean company for cephalopod processing.
Also, a Lithuanian company has recently acquired a sterilising autoclave of four chariots from Fishbam - the third one from this firm.
In the Spanish market, Fishbam says that it has strengthened its presence - a Galician company has acquired its 20th autoclave installed by Fishbam and Fishbam has also provided a complete fish cutting line to a company from the Cantabria region.
The company's machinery is present all over the world and is manufactured according to Codex Alimentarius rules and to ISO 9001- 2000 quality standards. It also has EC Markings following European Security rules.
Fishbam equipment available includes:
• Sterilising autoclaves - Designed for the sterilisation and pasteurisation of food packed in all kind of containers: aluminium and tinplate cans, crystal jars, bags, PET containers, trays, etc. The aim of the thermal treatment is to destroy and inactivate the germs that are able to turn the packed food bad, but keeping its nutritional quality.
• Automatic tuna cooker-cooler with automatic vacuum system 'FISHVAC' - different models from 6-12m are available. Programmed with a vacuum cooling system by means of internal and external showers and a pump. It has several advantages, such as avoiding burns and oxidation of fish, improving colour and presentation, a uniform cooking and better yield of product, etc. It also reduces the labour force on cleaning and peeling table.
• Canned fish continuous cooker with drying 'Flashcook' - this machine cooks by direct steam control in a continuous way. Cans are positioned face-down in a grill.
• Fish nobbing-gutting and packing machine 'Fishpack' - for grilling and then filling fish into cans automatically, both in round cans and in irregular cans. Production capacity: 60-80 cans/min, only a maximum of six workers are required.
