The Salmon ShowHow on 5 February 2020 will provide producers with an opportunity to learn about new technologies and proven solutions in a hands-on way.

Live demonstrations

The full day programme of demonstrations includes standalone and integrated equipment and food processing software in a simulated factory environment with real products. The focus will be on showing visitors how Marel can help them increase yield, improve the usage of raw materials and ensure traceability. Guests will also have the opportunity to walk through simulations of hi-tech processing facilities in virtual reality.

Speakers and seminars

The speaker and seminar agenda will be announced closer to the date. At the 2019 event, Dag Sletmo, senior vice president at DNB, explored some of the ways digitalisation is driving the salmon industry whilst president of the Salmon Industry Association of Chile, Arturo Clément, presented insights into how Chilean salmon producers are using the latest advances to face challenges and secure their competitive position.
