Optimar has signed an exclusive agent agreement with Turkish aquaculture technology provider, OctoAqua.
Under the terms of the deal, OctoAqua will represent Optimar’s factory solutions and processing equipment across Turkey, marking a significant step in Optimar’s expansion in the country.

“The partnership is already well established, and we look forward to many successful projects ahead,” said Hans Owen Thunem, vice president sales aqua at Optimar.
Chief executive, Ertugrul Gündoğdu believes that Optimar and OctoAqua are the perfect match. “With Opitmar and their expertise in delivering high-quality processing equipment and our goal of providing the best solutions to our clients, we really look forward this close collaboration,” he said.
Chief technical officer, Hilal Tolasa Gündoğdu said that the company will now be able to offer complete and customised solutions. “To maintain our position in fish processing, partnering with strong companies like Optimar is crucial,” she said.
Optimar’s sales manager, Håvard Worren, said that the aquaculture industry in Turkey is growing and the demand for quality solutions in processing is increasing. “Through our collaboration with OctoAqua, we can provide valuable solutions that meet high standards,” he said.
