New Zealand’s aquaculture industry has surged ahead, recording a 13% increase in export revenue over the past year and projected to reach NZ$650 million by the end of June

The figures, released in the Ministry for Primary Industries’ latest ’Situation and Outlook for Primary Industries’ report, underscore what Oceans and Fisheries Minister Shane Jones calls a ‘clear signal’ of the sector’s long-term promise.
