MarinTrust advances sustainability with V3

MarinTrust, the independent certification programme for marine ingredients, has announced major strides in the global transition to its newly enhanced Factory Standard, Version 3

The standard officially came into force on 1 May 2024, and as of 1 May 2025, all facility audits are now conducted exclusively against V3.

MarinTrust says this shift represents a key milestone in the industry’s commitment to responsible sourcing, traceability and sustainable production of fishmeal and fish oil.
