Insect protein startup gains investment

S2G Investments and Ocean 14 Capital Fund I have announced a joint investment in Enthos Circular Feed Technologies, a company turning organic waste into insect-based protein and oils

The funding will support the development of Enthos 1, a flagship facility in Colombia reportedly set to become one of Latin America’s largest centres for upcycling organic waste using black soldier fly larvae.

Enthos’s technology transforms food waste into protein-rich insect meal, oils and organic fertiliser, offering a scalable and eco-friendly alternative to traditional animal and aquaculture feed sources.
