BioMar and Cefetra tackle feed emissions

BioMar has teamed up with agricultural supply chain specialist Cefetra to help reduce emissions from key vegetable-based ingredients used in fish feed

Despite aquaculture’s efficient feed conversion, over 80% of its emissions stem from feed production and raw material sourcing.

The new partnership seeks to tackle these emissions at their source by supporting regenerative agricultural practices and improving the link between crop farming and fish farming.
