Key features of the RW UV system include continuous UV quality monitoring via an ÖNORM-certified sensor, instant real-time disinfection and an environmentally friendly design

“We are particularly satisfied with our partnership with BIO-UV Group,” said Lionel Colin, EHSQ director at Groupe Aqualande.

“Their technology allows us to guarantee ideal water treatment conditions for producing premium-quality fish, while meeting strict environmental requirements.”

Headquartered in the Landes region of southwest France, Groupe Aqualande operates across the full aquaculture value chain, from fish breeding and farming to processing.

BIO-UV Group has previously equipped Aqualande’s hatcheries, including those at Fermes Marines du Soleil near Sète and Oléron Island, with ultraviolet systems tailored for both freshwater and seawater treatment.

The newly delivered RW UV system is designed for Aqualande’s fish processing facility, ensuring clean discharge water that meets environmental regulations. The unit integrates pumping, filtration and UV disinfection to maintain water quality while protecting the surrounding ecosystem.

Key features of the RW UV system include continuous UV quality monitoring via an ÖNORM-certified sensor, instant real-time disinfection and an environmentally friendly design that avoids harmful by-products.

“We are proud to collaborate with Groupe Aqualande on this project, which perfectly reflects our commitment to sustainable water management,” said Laurent-Emmanuel Migeon, chief executive of BIO-UV Group.
