Karmøy Winch AS to supply four new vessels
Karmøy Winch, producer of deck machinery packages for fishing vessels, has recently received an order to supply four new Norwegian pelagic combined purse seiner/trawlers.
Two of the new ships are for the Norwegian fishing company Lie Fishing and are 64m long. One will come into operation in September this year and the other will follow in January 2013.
One of the ships is for Vendla, which will be 75m long and will be ready for fishing in April 2013.
The final ship is for Østerbris. This vessel will be 70m long and ready for fishing in December 2012.
Karmøy Winch will supply these new vessels with winches, cranes, net haulers, computer trawl systems, fish pumps, blocks and powerpacks.
