Ocean Safety has designed its first commercial twin chamber lifejacket.
The new K2 275N range offers a twin chamber lifejacket that is approved to SOLAS MED Ship’s Wheel and is manufactured under the accredited Lloyds Register ISO 9001 quality system.
The K2 has a small AQ40L lifejacket light fitted as standard, and is equipped so that it can be fitted with a Kannad R10 Survival Recovery System AIS Beacon. The lifejacket is available in two covers: standard nylon cover in navy and red, and industrial grade cover for heavier duty work situations.
The high performance jacket provides over 300N of buoyancy from both or either chamber. This is controlled via inbuilt pressure relief valves providing the maximum in performance and safety. Self righting capabilities and fast inflation are assured with the use of two 60g Co2 cylinders.
Features of the lifejacket include quick burst zip closers, crotch strap, buddy line, harness, whistle and lifting beckets. There is also an optional spray hood.
