2025 commercial season ended with a total 194.8 million fish, valued at approximately $541 million

A total 194.8 million salmon were harvested in Alaska’s 2025 season, an 88% increase from the 2024 total harvest of 103.5 million salmon, with the commercial fishery for all species valued at approximately US$541 million, a significant increase from $304 million in the 2024 season, according to the Alaska Department of Fish and Game’s (ADF&G) preliminary harvest and value figures.
