Lipid Pharmaceuticals is a research and development company founded in 2009 focusing on developing novel therapeutic solutions from natural resources. Stella Rögn Sigurðardóttir, Managing Director & Project Manager joins the programme.
In 2018 Lipid Pharmaceuticals received a grant from the Icelandic Technology Development Found for final development and marketing of their first product – Omalax. Stella Rögn, Managing Director of Lipid Pharmaceuticals will discuss the importance of recognizing new ways to utilize the resources available to us.
Sigurðardóttir is an experienced regulatory affairs specialist and project manager. She joined Lipid Pharmaceuticals in 2018 from Lýsi where she holds the position of Head of Regulatory Affairs. Since joining Lipid Pharmaceuticals, Stella has been responsible for overseeing the operations of the company and project management.
Due to the close relationship between Lýsi and Lipid Pharmaceuticals and Stella’s strong expertise in regulatory affairs and managing multiple large-scale projects through to post-market phase, Stella was invited by the co-founders to take over the management position of Lipid Pharmaceuticals.
