Fish and shrimp processing equipment manufacturer, Norbech, has been sold to new owners after declaring bankruptcy in December 2023.
The company will be relaunched under its original name of Uni-Food Technic, with the new owners keen to resurrect its previous incarnation.

Norbech has been bought by Carsoe, group sales director, Jeppe Christensen, and founder of Intech International, Leif Andersen.
“We aim to create a well-functioning company by building on the competent employees, key products, and loyal customers that have been the core of Norbech for many years,” said majority owner and new chief executive, Jeppe Christensen.
“Our approach is to establish a solid financial foundation for the company, so UniFood Technic can evolve to be even more relevant for our customers and a healthy workplace.”
Jeppe Christensen takes on the role of chief executive and board member with a 51% ownership stake.
With a background as group sales director at Carsoe for the past eight years, he brings in-depth industry experience.
Leif Andersen enters as a passive partner and board member with a 49% ownership stake.
Andersen was previously a partner in Uni-Food Technic about 25 years ago. Since 1999, he has founded and led Intech International until 2022 when the company was sold to Carsoe.
Several employees and significant assets and activities have been transferred in connection with the sale.
