Designed specifically for cooling, freezing, proofing and other spiral applications, Intralox''s new Series 2600 Spiraloxâ„¢ belt eliminates much of the labour and modifications associated with spiral retrofits. The new Series 2600 Spiralox features superior lateral beam stiffness, high curve belt strength, large open area and a tight, 1.6 turning radius (also available with a 2.2 minimum turning radius).

Intralox says that its spiral belts are proven to reduce downtime and protect product quality. Other characteristics are:

* Cuts product waste in half --eliminates the black specks (or metal wear debris) and product sticking that result in product waste.

* Results in 75per cent less maintenance (less downtime) -- the modular designs make repairs and changeovers simple and quick to maximise theproduction line: no welding, no 'flipping', no special tools needed. Also, no lubrication is ever required, which reduces operating costs.

* Improves product quality -- Intralox's plastic surfaces allow easy product release, preventing marking.

* Extends belt life -- the belts operate at very low tension, which prevents premature belt wear and greatly reduces belt replacement costs.

* Increases throughput -- light plastic materials and modular load sharing ability enable Intralox spiral belts to carry more product and thereby increase throughput.
