REICH Klima-Räuchertechnik, manufacturer of high end smoking equipment, based in Urbach near Stuttgart, has launched the new AIRMASTER UKQ AirJet kilns which incorporate the latest state-of-the-art technology.
The company confirms that it has built the world’s most powerful and efficient smoke house using horizontal air flow. Its new concept and applied technology reduces processing times to a minimum, while warranting consistent high smoking quality of the products. REICH says that it is certain that the new AIRMASTER UKQ AirJet equipment will mean a boost of production to a level which was hitherto impossible.
Now it is possible to dry and smoke cold processed salmon in only four hours with highest product quality and uniform treatment. Each trolley of a kiln can be loaded with approximately 400-450kg of salmon sides lying close by close on screened trays.
This is only possible through the impingement of recirculated air from all sides treating the product. The AirJet system’s controlled air flow ensures a fast dehumidification of the fish using its special designed RecyclingSmoke Cooler in combination with its reversible cross-flow air distribution.
REICH recently supplied 5 AIRMASTER UKQ 7500 BE AirJet (each three trolleys) to the leading fish smoker in Finland. This company was looking to replace its fairly young kilns in order to make their operation more efficient through greatly reduced processing time and giving its products a nice smoked flavour.
From REICH’s smoke generator program the company decided to use the liquid smoke system TradiSmoker for all five kilns. Additionally, three of the AIRMASTERs are equipped with the highly efficient smoke generator MaxxSmoker G 505 H.
