This is the fifth longliner that the owners are building at Fiskerstrand Verft AS. The new building is of ST-155 design and will have an overall length of 51.3m and a beam of 12.4m.

The contract value is approximately 170 million NOK for delivery of the vessel in the third quarter of 2010.

Safety and environmental aspects have been a major focus in the development phase of the project. The newbuilding contains a moon pool line hauling system which was developed in close cooperation with Fiskerstrand Verft AS, H.P. Holmeset AS and SINTEF Fiskeri og Havbruk. Raised quality of catch is documented by using this genuine moon pool system which has been patented by Fiskerstrand Verft AS and SINTEF Fiskeri og Havbruk AS.

The vessel will be arranged with diesel electric propulsion which means reduced fuel oil consumption compared to traditional solutions. In the foreship the vessel is equipped with a retractable azimuth-thruster for enhanced maneuverability during fishing operations.

The accommodation is for 19 persons in 15 single and two double cabins.
