Ireland’s fisheries minister, Timmy Dooley, has visited Howth Fishery Harbour Centre as part of a series of engagements with the country’s seafood sector

The visit highlights Dooley’s commitment to directly engage with stakeholders across the department’s six fishery harbour centres.

In 2024, 2,500 tonnes of seafood valued at €13 million were landed in Howth, while the harbour’s processing output in 2023 reached €332 million.
