Therese Log Bergjord, CEO of aquaculture feed company Skretting has announced her decision to leave the company after seven years.
Bergjord will vacate the role on 1 June 2024 and be succeeded by Bastiaan van Tilburg, currently Managing Director for Trouw Nutrition Europe and Central Asia. Trouw Nutrition is Nutreco’s livestock feed business line. Owned by SHV, Nutreco is Skretting’s parent company.
“I’ve enjoyed every minute of my time at Skretting and as part of the Nutreco leadership team. We’ve achieved so much and I will continue to champion sustainable aquaculture even as I move onto my next opportunity,” Bergjord said.
Fulco van Lede, CEO of Nutreco, said in a statement: “I want to thank Therese for her tremendous contributions to the company in the seven years during which she led Skretting. She leaves behind a strong team and a business well positioned to remain at the forefront of sustainable aquaculture.”
Van Lede will also be stepping down from his role this summer after leading the company for the past three years. He will be succeeded by David Blakemore on 1 June.
Blakemore is currently CEO of Trouw Nutrition and member of Nutreco’s Management Board.
