The final day of Offshore Mariculture Asia played host to two separate technical visits to the Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority of Singapore’s Marina Aquaculture Centre and Barramundi Asia’s nursery and sea cages.

The Opening Session of the first Offshore Mariculture to take place in Southeast Asia kicked off with an in introduction by long standing supporter of OMC and Conference Chairman, Alessandro Lovatelli (FAO).

Subsequent sessions on day one of OMC Asia 2018 saw presenters covering a range of case studies which showcased local and international examples of successful offshore operations.

The second day of OMC Asia was characterised by even more knowledge sharing and an interactive session on technology, which featured both Pechakucha style presentations and an interactive break out session.

Investors, operators, farmers, service providers and many more have signed up for the first Offshore Mariculture Asia Conference.
