Saeplasts 65L cooler box was originally made and designed for small boats in the Middle East and sprang from a collaboration with fishermen and the Bahraini fisheries ministry. After two years of development, Saeplast believe the boxes also have a huge market potential in Europe.
Saeplast says the new, multi-application container is particularly useful for storing and transporting fish in ice or ice water. Made in high-quality, UV-resistant, food-grade polyethylene and insulated with rigid polyurethane foam, it weighs only 11kg and has been ergonomically designed for easy cleaning. It has built-in drainage plugs, wood and rope handles and a lid which can be equipped with holders for standard cooling elements.
