Med Sea Alliance: GFCM delivered only partial progress
Following the annual meeting of the General Fisheries Commission for the Mediterranean (GFCM) in Málaga, Spain, the Med Sea Alliance, together with its members Oceana and The Nature Conservancy, has welcomed progress on transparency but has also voiced its regret in seeing “significant delays” in key compliance measures to prevent illegal fishing.
