2026 Baltic Sea fishing opportunities proposed

The European Commission has adopted its proposal for the 2026 fishing opportunities for the Baltic Sea, explaining that the total allowable catches (TACs) and quotas that it has put forward for the 10 stocks managed by the EU in the region are based on a scientific assessment that indicates several fisheries are in a dire situation.
