French company Le Drezen has launched its latest netting, Brezforce.
This stiff netting is most suited to fishing for shrimp, sole, squid and cuttlefish and is offered in ready made codends in 4mm double 70, 80 and 100 gauges. Le Drezen is also offering the product as bales of netting.
The company says that this new netting optimises catch, does not allow sand penetration, will not shrink after months at sea, and the diameter and mesh size remain stable.
The codend is produced with an extra mesh and a half in spun dyed black nylon to close the codend and join it to the extension.
The new Brezforce netting is produced at Le Drezen’s factory at Le Guilvinec in France.
