Avure Technologies, Inc., manufacturer of high pressure processing solutions, has shipped the world’s largest 87,000 psi (600 Mpa) high pressure processing (HPP) food press to Fresherized Foods of Fort Worth, Texas.
The system is the 14th Avure commercial system purchased by Fresherized Foods and will be installed in its protein processing plant located in Keller, Texas for producing clean-label, natural products.
With a rated capacity of over 5,000 pounds per hour using a three minute hold time, the 350L has the highest throughput of any HPP system on the market. Its largest available interior diameter and 350 litre capacity provides the highest loading efficiency available whether using flexible or rigid type packaging.
Its stainless steel construction enables it to withstand wet environments and its horizontal orientation enables the 350L to integrate seamlessly with existing production lines. Finally its compact footprint and low weight through the use of Avure’s QUINTUS® wire winding technology means lower transportation and building construction costs. Avure claims that combined, these features make the 350L the most advanced system available in the industry today.
The system joins Avure’s line of vertical and horizontal HPP equipment and is part of a total Avure solution including assistance with recipe development, packaging selection, regulatory approval, material handling and marketing for the food industry.
