Vietnam-based seafood producer KTCFOOD has become the latest company to join the International Seafood Sustainability Foundation (ISSF).
The move signals KTCFOOD’s growing focus on environmental stewardship as it aligns with ISSF’s sustainability standards. By joining, KTCFOOD commits to supporting research, promoting responsible tuna fishing practices and undergoing independent audits to ensure transparency in its operations.

“KTCFOOD’s decision to join ISSF reflects a commitment to investing in a better future for tuna fisheries through credible, science-based action,” said Susan Jackson, ISSF president.
“With every new partner, we strengthen our commitment to building a seafood supply chain that is more transparent and sustainable while advancing the health of tuna stocks and protecting the broader marine ecosystem.”
KTCFOOD is a leading Vietnamese exporter of canned seafood – including tuna, mackerel and sardines – distributing to over 36 countries. The company has received the Vietnam Value Award three times for excellence in sustainability and product quality.
As an ISSF participant, the company joins a growing alliance of 24 seafood firms across six continents.
