Raytheon Marine has developed a new on-board NautoPilot, the NP60, with the aim to produce a system that is easier than before to use.
The system has been designed for ships from 10 to 60m in length and is suitable for any hull type. It has a very efficient steering performance at both high and low speeds up to 70 knots.
TheNP60 has a easy to read large LCD indicator and for heading control, gyro and magnetic or fluxgate compasses can be connected.
THe selectable functions include heading control, track control, manual steering and work mode with second parameter set.
The system can be adapted to steering gears, propelles, water jet drives and bow thrusters.
