Latvian company Peruza has developed an efficient new volumetric dozer for small pelagic fish which has been industrially approved.

The dozer allows the speed of the packing line to be increased, while keeping a high accuracy of weight measurements with practically no damage to the processed fish.

Arnis Petranis, Chairman of the Board, explains that the dozer, “is the packing device which makes it possible to always have the same amount of fish in each batch - with our type of device there is always the same volume, with other types there is always the same weight.”

Mr Petranis says that the volumetric dozer is a direct response to market demand and has been created in close cooperation with JAPS AS and Kajax Fishexport AS - fish processing and forwarding companies in the Baltics.

Peruza has a record of successfully implemented production line projects, both in Europe and CIS countries. The main strength of Peruza, according to Mr Petranis, is that the company is an integrator, meaning that the customer chooses what needs to be included in the new or renovated production line, and Peruza integrates both external brands and the company's own equipment to make it all work together.
