Automated Traymaster freezers
UK-based Jackstone Froster will be putting their Traymaster on show at Brussels International Seafood fair and the company says it is the only automatic plate freezer on the market that applies high pressure to the product during freezing. It ensures completely square blocks, avoiding offcuts which affect yield.
For vertical plate freezers, the most common block size is around 25 kg, so Jackstone Froster’s new equipment now makes it a lot faster and easier to unload the freezers and it can even be used at sea. Cheap and easy to use, there has also been a lot of interest from land-based companies, the company said. It says its website, http://www.jackstonefroster.com, makes it easy to select the right freezer configuration.Visitors to their stand will also be able to see the results of a survey from customers with installations using the new, improved design. It says customers report much faster freezing time compare to other brands of plate freezer.
