The National Commission of Aquaculture and Fisheries is a decentralised body of SAGARPA, committed to legality, quality and transparency. It is responsible for promoting and developing coordination mechanisms with different agencies to implement policies, programs and regulations that lead and facilitate the competitive and sustainable development of the country’s fisheries and aquaculture sector, aiming to increase the welfare of Mexicans.
