Directorate-General for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries to give Keynote address
In addition to the NOAA representative, Ernesto Penas Lado, Director: Directorate A — Policy development and coordination: DG MARE — Directorate-General for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries will give a European viewpoint to this years opening session
With the ongoing need for growth in aquaculture to feed the human population, the importance of the Offshore Mariculture Conference has been recognised by the highest authorities resulting in both DG Mare and the NOAA sending representatives to give keynote addresses at the 6th edition of the event, being held in Barcelona on 6-7 April 2016.
The full programme will be release imminently and the following sessions will also be included:
