MMS Ship Repair & Dry Dock Co. Ltd is building a 14.5m vivier-crabber for Skipper Iain Gray of Bridlington, due to be handed over in autumn 2007.
Particular attention to the vessels design has been carefully thought out by the Skipper with assistance from MMS and Macduff Ship Design who supplied the drawings and the pre-cut steel.
The vessel is fully shelterdecked and all shellfish catches will be stored in a 30,000 litre vivier hold.
A Cummings N14-M main engine along with a Cummings 6BT5.9M auxiliary will provide the necessary power.
