US-based Omniglow says it is new 6" Flex-stick ultra lightstick outperforms any other commercial on the market. The company says that in the battle for fish all longliner fishermen know the secret to catching more is light.
It said tests, measuring in lumens per square inch versus time measured in minutes and hours were performed at a constant temperature and distance.
The result showed the Flex-stick ultra contains 55 per cent more light- producing ingredients than any other stick. It is also Phthalate Free -- meaning it meets environmental and regulatory requirements worldwide and is available in six colours -- Green, Yellow, Blue, Pink, White and Violet, the company said. It said the are manufactured with Cyalume technology and are Crack and leak resistant and can be used to fish depths of 400 fathoms (2400 feet/732 metres). This is also the deepest of any lightstick, of any kind, anywhere Omniglow said.
