This year MMC Kulde is presenting its new environmental RSW technology, designed to meet the needs of the fish industry to replace existing RSW systems operating with Freon R 22.

The MMC SX RSW System is a compact system designed for cooling sea and freshwater to meet the demand for very fast chilling where space for the equipment is limited.
The new system is less space demanding, due to its small size and light weight.
It is designed for R717 Ammonia (NTechnology are designed to be corrosion free ( all items in contact with seawater are made of Titanium)H3) with ultra low refrigerant charge of only 20-80kg.
All items in contact with seawater are made of titanium, ensuring that the technology remains free of corrosion. The system has been designed with 1″ titanium tubes, with sea water inside and ammonia evaporating on the outside. The titanium tubes are welded into the titanium endplates. The waterheads (endcovers) are also made of titanium.
The capacity range is 50-100-150-250-350-450-550-650-750-850-1050-1150-1250kW.
The system has been tested for a year, both in the factory and onboard a vessel and is now ready for distribution.
